This is Julia Campbell's sixth year at Carroll Elementary School,
and her 16th year as an elementary school librarian. |

Ms. Campbell's educational background
includes an undergraduate degree in Physical & Health
Education from
The University of
Texas at Austin
followed later by a Masters of Library &
Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin
Graduate School of
Information. |

Ms. Campbell has two grown
daughters, Kate and Alex, a son-in-law, Tyler, and
granddaughter, Ava. When Ms. Campbell
is not working, she enjoys taking photos, relaxing with her dogs, exercising, watching movies, and, of course, reading.
Among Ms. Campbell's favorite children's picture books are
The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton, Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey,
and Sam and the Tigers by Julius Lester. |
