2. How are the Bluebonnet books chosen?

The Texas Bluebonnet Award Committee receives suggestions from librarians, teachers, parents, and students. To be considered, all titles must be recommended by at least one review source, and have been published within the past two years. The committee makes the final selections to meet a variety of interest and reading levels so that most students will be able to find at least five books they can and want to read.
